Seeking interesting artists in the Muncie and Central Indiana area.
Hi! I’ve been doing a few pop-up art shows during our city’s artswalk and at local punk rock shows under the name Metanoia Muncie. They have been successful with not only a few sales, but also lots of fun, and interaction with the community. I am seeking artists who feel they make interesting work of any medium to show/perform for 1 night on Thursday, July 4th. We currently have 2 big stand-alone walls, lots of table space, and lots of room to play with. The venue is currently a bar called Vallhalla in downtown Muncie. The place is spacious and has a great area for performers. Please check out these pictures to see our past shows.
I promote it as an art party and have a drink-and-draw table set up so people can make art and hang out. Then I post the drawings they leave behind. It’s a blast! So if you (or someone you know) are an artist (“outsider,” graffiti, collage, sculpture, painting, carving, printing, anything interesting) or a performer (band, singer, performance art, video art, line dancer, adult contemporary hip-hop dancer, comedian etc) please let me know if you would like to be involved.
I don’t know where this is going. There isn’t a focal point. Maybe it needs a skull? On a skull? Made of skulls?

I’ve just resigned to the fact that swirls are my jam. Fuck it.
Took a stab at painting my boyfriend from a couple different pictures. I kind of made him look like a zombie on accident. I should try using a real model I guess. Or just accept that I’m not great at painting stuff that really exists.
